Meet Will & Courtney E.
Dear Birthparent,
We are so grateful that you may be considering us as parents for your child. We believe adoption is one of the most selfless and loving things a parent can do for their child, and we have the deepest respect for you. Thank you for taking this time to learn about us.
Our Lives Together We have been a couple for a long time — 13 years! — and we’ve been happily married for about five of those years. In 2019, we moved back to our hometown so that we could raise our children close to our parents and extended families. Life is good. We love to go on walks around our neighborhood with our dogs Zeke and Carmen. We cook together and often wind down by watching The Great British Bake Off. We enjoy visiting all the parks in our area, and in the summer months, we spend our weekends at Courtney’s parents’ pool swimming with family and friends. In the fall, we watch Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football games. Courtney loves to sit on the back deck and read during the nice months, while Will will go golfing with friends and family. We love traveling and have plans to go to Europe for Courtney’s sister’s wedding in Ireland.

About Courtney I am an extrovert, able to make friends quickly, and I work hard to maintain relationships. I love reading, listening to Taylor Swift, hanging out with our dogs, and spending time with family and friends. I went to Ohio State, earning a degree in industrial engineering, and I’ve spent my time since college working for a financial institution.
About Will I love to be out and about getting active with friends, family, and our dogs. I hike, fish, and golf as much as possible. I frequently attend Cleveland Cavaliers and Guardians games and can say without a doubt that I’m a diehard fan. I grew up attending boy scouts and playing a variety of organized sports, such as baseball, volleyball, football, golf, and soccer. I have coached youth sports in the past, and I hope to coach our children’s teams as they grow up.
Our Home When we built our home in 2019, we made sure to create space for a playroom, and the nursery is already picked out. Our neighborhood has lots of kids who are constantly outside on their swing sets, biking up the street, or playing in the grassy common space. We plan on taking hikes in the metro parks and getting an Akron Zoo membership to make the same memories with our children as we have with our parents. We have over 15 family members who live within 10 miles of us, and we get together with most of them on a regular basis. We host up to 25 family members on Thanksgiving! Our families are so excited that we’re adopting. They can’t wait to spoil our children!
We love to go hiking on the weekends and explore new parks.

Our Family At a Glance
We live in the Akron, Ohio area. We’ve been married since June 2018. We work as IT Program Managers. Our hobbies include walking, reading, and golfing. We believe open adoption is in the best interest of everyone involved, particularly the child.
