Meet Ryan and Kristen G.
Dear Birthparents,
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about us. We admire your courage and the self-sacrificial love you have shown by considering open adoption. We believe every child is a precious gift, and, if you choose us as adoptive parents, we promise to give your child unconditional love and every opportunity to thrive.
We are Ryan and Kristen Our faith is central to our life. We attend church weekly and pray daily for our family, future children, and their birthparents. We enjoy going on walks, relaxing on our front porch, grilling, gardening, and spending time with family. Our backyard is an oasis, with birds, trees, gardens, and a Koi pond.
We became parents in December of 2023 when our son, Isaac, was born. It’s a blessing not only to have Isaac as our son, but his birthmother as a beloved member of our family forever. Our son Isaac is the happiest boy, and loves to dance, read, play outside and meet new people.
Ryan is a proud father who spends afternoons working from home getting in extra father-son bonding time.
Ryan started his career as a combat medic in the Army National Guard, where he was enlisted for six years. After the military, he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has now worked in The James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State as an infection preventionist for 11 years. His employer offers convenient childcare, located next to his office, paternity leave, and half off tuition for children attending Ohio State.
Ryan enjoys being outdoors, camping and hiking. He loves experimenting with new recipes and working on projects around the house, especially woodworking.
Kirsten is a proud mother who adores watching Isaac experience every detail of the world around him.
Kristen graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Education and has been a middle school English teacher for 13 years. She loves to laugh daily with her students and help them thrive.
Kristen enjoys reading, garden- ing, and spending time outdoors. In her summers off, she enjoys going to the zoo, library, and parks with her family. Kristen has a serious sweet tooth and is constantly baking desserts for her family. She finds joy in making others laugh and isn’t afraid to be goofy to brighten up their day.
Our Home in Grandview Heights, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, has three bedrooms, plenty of living space, and a fully-fenced large backyard with two patios, a pergola and a Koi pond with lots of fish that Isaac loves to feed! We live close to our parents who lovingly provide childcare for our family.
Grandview is a safe and vibrant community where everything is within walking/biking distance and the streets are always full of families. We are just a few miles from the Columbus Zoo, multiple museums, The Ohio State University, and several leading medical centers.
From Isaac’s birthmother: “I feel proud and blessed every single day that I chose Ryan and Kristen to be Isaac’s parents! They give him more love than I could ever imagine/expect and also became family to me as well. They make me feel important in his life and have given me an incredible amount of support through “our” journey. They are the most loving people with the kindest, biggest hearts and I can’t wait to see them with another little one!”
We promise that your child will always know that you loved them first and wanted the very best for them. We would be honored to have your child join our loving family.
With great love and gratitude,
Ryan, Kristen, and Isaac
