Meet Molly & Chris D.
Dear birth parent,
Hello! We are Molly and Chris. We know the decision to make an adoption plan for your child comes with many emotions, but your decision is one we respect and will honor our entire lives if you choose us as parents for your child.
We’re looking forward to all that comes with parenting, but are most excited about sharing the little parts of life with your child — reading before bed, cuddling on the couch, and seeing the wonder in their eyes when they discover something new. As high school sweethearts, we have been discussing our goals and dreams for a long time.
We decided to work in our hometown to be close to family and have our children grow up in a close-knit community. Our family and friends are a huge part of our life, and we spend a great deal of time with them.
We love being outside, hiking with our dog Rosie, swimming in the family lake, bonfires, skiing, fishing, sledding, and more. In contrast, we also enjoy binge-watching a show, board games, and video games.

About Chris, by Molly. Chris is my best friend. He has always been my biggest fan, support system, and the person who brings a sense of humor into my life. We spent almost an entire year talking, joking, and learning about each other before we started dating. What makes our marriage so strong is the fact that we built our relationship on friendship. Chris is kind, thoughtful, loyal, and witty. He is fiercely loyal to the people in his life and gives his friendship and support without strings. I can’t wait to see Chris as a father.
About Molly, by Chris. Molly and I have been a couple for almost half our lives now. We were friends before we started dating, and I still consider Molly to be my best friend. She goes out of her way to ensure that everyone is taken care of, and it’s a priority for her. She became a teacher because she genuinely cares about kids and wants to help them. I can’t wait to see Molly as a mother. I know she will shower any child that comes to us with the same care, love, and compassion that made me fall in love with her.
Seven Springs ski weekend
Our Home. Our home is a three-bedroom, one-story ranch built by Chris’ grandparents, and it is one of five houses on the family farm property. Today’s ’farm’ is a shared outdoor space for the family with a 4-acre lake for swimming and boating, a pavilion, woods, and a giant playset.

Our Family At a Glance
We live South of Cleveland, Ohio. We’ve been married since 2017. Molly is an Elementary Art Teacher, and Chris is a Police Officer. We love being outside, hiking with our dog Rosie, swimming in the family lake, skiing, fishing, sledding, and more. Our family and friends are a huge part of our life, and we spend a great deal of time with them. We believe an open adoption is healthier for the child, the birth family, and the adoptive family.
