Meet Melanie & Andy A.
Dear birthparents,
We thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We pray that God gives you strength, courage, and peace throughout your pregnancy.
We are Andy, Melanie, and Joel. Our family is built on a foundation of faith and love. We enjoy spending quality time together and making the most of daily routines by laughing and being silly. In our free time, we enjoy making memories with our son, Joel, strolling through our friendly neighborhood, and playing with our three cats. Our weekends are filled with local adventures, including the zoo, parks, and library. We cannot wait to share these experiences with another child.
Saturday morning chores are easier with a helper.
Our Story
We met in 2017, dated for two years, and then got married in a Catholic church in front of God and our loved ones. Shortly after, we moved to Cincinnati and settled into the west side of town.
Although we experienced many losses with trying to have biological children, God blessed us with a miracle, our son, Joel. We still feel called to grow our family, and we know that He is telling us now is the time for adoption.

Our household is supportive and nurturing. We encourage each other, give hugs, spend quality time together, and navigate through life’s challenges as a team. We believe being outside is good for the soul, and we encourage imaginative play to spark curiosity and creativity. We want our children to experience a childhood filled with laughter, play, and happiness. Our ultimate goal is for our children to grow up to be confident, generous, hard-working, and faithful.
We live in a culturally diverse area on the west side of Cincinnati, not far from several of Andy’s eleven siblings, and also close to his and Melanie’s parents. Our daycare is right down the road from us, and we plan on sending our children to the local school which is academically excellent. Our house is in a safe neighborhood where young families go out for a stroll, elderly couples tend their yard, and friends zoom around on their bikes.
Our Catholic faith plays a major role in our lives as God strengthens us through weekly Mass. We look forward to helping our children grow in their faith by talking openly about God and praying together.

Raising Joel is a joyous adventure, and we know God is calling us to open our hearts and home to another child. We cannot wait to shower your baby with unconditional love and support. We would be honored to be part of your child’s life, and we would love that for you, too. We want your child to understand their background and the love you have for them. Keeping an open line of communication is important to us, as we feel the more love a child has, the better. Thank you for your consideration in blessing our family.
