Meet Megan & Aaron L.

Dear Birthparents,

We are Megan and Aaron, and our greatest joy is being parents to our son, Brooks. We have dreamed of growing our family and would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to welcome another child through adoption. We are ready to give a child a home filled with love, laughter, stability, and plenty of fun. Brooks is already excited about becoming a big brother!

We originally met one another shortly after college and then reconnected again 10 years later. Aaron likes to say that Megan slid into his DMs one sunny afternoon looking for a happy-hour partner — and the rest is history!

We got our English Cream Golden Retriever, Winnie, in 2018, married in July 2020, and bought our home during the pandemic. In December 2021, we welcomed Brooks into the world seven weeks early. In 2025 we welcomed our Maine Coon cat, Snacks.

Family is incredibly important to us, and we make sure to connect often. Both sets of parents are nearby which means lots of family time and support. Brooks has a wonderful group of friends whose families have become our family. It isn’t unusual to have lots of kids at the house or to spend a day together at the zoo or playground.

Brooks and our dog, Winnie, are good friends.

We live in a small neighborhood with a beautiful pond, a horse barn, and lots of kids nearby. Our house has four bedrooms, three baths, a large living room, a dining room, a dedicated play room with a climbing wall, and a theater room.

Our home is a warm and welcoming place where family and friends often gather. We enjoy hosting dinners, with Aaron at the grill and the kids playing nearby. We also appreciate family pizza and movie nights together.

We love traveling and exploring new places. Outside of Colorado, Florida, and Lake Erie, Megan and Aaron also try to take a couple of trips together each year, while Aaron has an annual hiking “Man Trip” with college friends.

Christmas Morning 2025

We value our traditions — decorating for Christmas and Halloween, Santa brunch and Easter egg hunts at our country club, and trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Holidays and birthdays are a big part of our life, and we make an effort to be with family whenever we can. We also love our annual beach vacation with Aaron’s brother and his family.

If you choose us as parents for your child, we will always speak about you with love and respect and will support a relationship that feels right for everyone. We want your child to know where they came from, and how much they are loved by their birth family.

Our Family at a Glance

We live in Blacklick, Ohio. We have been married since July 2020. We both have advanced degrees, Aaron in law and Megan in educational leadership. Aaron is an executive in tech sales and a licensed attorney. Megan left teaching to stay home with Brooks. We love golfing, exercising, traveling, trying new foods and wines, and spending time with friends and family. We believe that family is made of the people you choose to surround yourself with.
