Meet McKenna & Roy C.

Dear Birth Family,

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our story. We are so grateful that you are considering such an incredibly difficult decision in adoption, and we truly hope to support you in that journey.

We are McKenna and Roy. We met in 2022 and were married later that year — “when you know, you know” truly applied to us. We are a blended family with three amazing kids: Liam, MaKenzi, and Hudson. Our family is built on trust, open communication, laughter, and more love than we could have imagined. McKenna keeps the household running smoothly, making sure everyone stays on schedule, and truly is the glue that holds everything together. Roy is the calm, nurturing presence who can brighten any room the moment he walks in.

McKenna is a Senior Manager at a large insurance company and appreciates the flexibility her role provides, along with the company’s focus on family first. Roy is a Business Office Manager at a rehabilitation hospital and genuinely enjoys going to work each day. While our careers are important, the stability they provide allows us to prioritize what matters most — our family.

Bengals game! It was a cold one!

We love to travel in our free time, especially to Florida to visit close friends. In the summer, you’ll find us outside at the pool, on the trampoline, fishing, or playing sports. Our older kids also enjoy spending time at Kings Island.

Our extended family is a huge part of our lives and truly makes up our village. We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many people who love and support us and our children, always showing up for them in meaningful ways.

Our engagement

In 2023, we moved into a wonderful neighborhood filled with kids of all ages, multiple fishing ponds, and a beautiful walking path we use daily. Our home has five bedrooms and is located about 30 minutes north of Cincinnati. One of our favorite parts is that our nanny — and best friends — live right next door.

We would be remiss not to mention our sweet puppy, Lucy. She has been part of McKenna’s life for years and is the most loyal and loving companion we could ask for.

Our Lives at a Glance

We live in Liberty Township, Ohio.
We have been married since 2022.
McKenna works in the insurance industry and Roy works in healthcare.
Our hobbies include sports, daily walks in our neighborhood, trying new restaurants, and spending time together as a family.
We believe that open adoption allows children to feel complete and seen, which is extremely important to us.
