Meet Jim & Dana W.
Dear Birth Parent,
Hello. We are Jim and Dana. We have a relationship built on a foundation of love, respect, and communication. Family matters most to us, and we are ready and excited to grow our family through adoption. We have created a home that is loving, stable, and secure, and would be beyond grateful to be able to share everything we have with a child.
Home is our favorite place, and we love spending time there, playing with our dog, Clark, and catching up on our favorite shows. Family gathers here often for holidays, backyard barbecues, and parties. Our large yard is a great space where Clark can run around, Dana can garden, and future children can play.
Located in a suburb of Cleveland, our community has much to offer — the Cleveland sports teams (and the Pittsburgh Penguins), Playhouse Square, museums, and the zoo. We visit the zoo multiple times a year. We can’t wait to share it all with our child!

About Dana I am a dentist and have been practicing for almost ten years. I love my work. In my free time, I like to read, bake, and tend to my garden. I also love cooking, traveling, and photography. I have a small, tight-knit family. My parents, who live in Pennsylvania, visit us often — almost once a month — and are planning to move to Cleveland in the future to be closer to us and our growing family.
Caring for others fills me with joy and satisfaction. Whether treating patients, helping out family and friends, or simply hosting pleasant gatherings, knowing I have made a positive difference in someone’s day makes life worth living for me.

About Jim I am a hard worker, and I endeavor to always be there for friends and family. Going out of my way to help others is never a problem and, in fact, makes life pretty wonderful. I own and operate a countertop company with my cousin, which gives me the flexibility to be home when needed. Outside of work, I love playing with our dog, Clark, and reading, especially out on the front porch while enjoying my coffee. My parents live very close, so we see them often. My older brother lives just 20 minutes away, which allows us to see Claire, our niece and God-daughter, often. We both enjoy that tremendously!
We go to several Penguins games a year.
Our goal for our child is to grow up happy, knowing how loved and supported they are. Success to us is not about perfect grades or the highest paying job. Our child will know that success is taking pride in who they are, caring about others, and loving what they do — the rest will follow.

Our Family At a Glance
We live in Brunswick, Ohio. We met in 2015 and we’ve been married since 2022. Dana is a dentist and Jim owns a counter-top company. Our hobbies include reading, barbecuing, weightlifting, and taking care of our dog, Clark.
We believe open adoption is the best option for the entire family — that includes the child, birth parents, and adoptive parents.
