Meet Jason & Ellen W.
Dearest birth family,
How do we even begin to say thank you for your consideration? Please know that we understand this decision is not easy for you. We hope and pray you find some peace and comfort in knowing that by making this selfless decision you are helping to create a miracle for a family. We truly hope you will consider us to be that family.
Family means the world to us! We have always wanted a big family. We adopted our first child, Chayse, in the beginning of 2021 and our second child, Laney, near the end of 2022. We would love for them to have a brother or sister to share this journey of life with!
We look forward to so much with our new child: snuggling them and rocking them to sleep, reading to them and teaching them, taking family vacations and camping out in the backyard, passing on the family tradition of drag racing, hiking with the pups, enjoying movie nights together, baking cookies, shooting hoops, staying up way too late on Christmas Eve, and so much more! As parents, we will help our children find their dreams and make them come true.
We want you to know that no matter where this plan leads, you will forever and always be a part of this child’s life and their plans, as you are, first and foremost, their birth family.
We see life as a journey that is meant to be enjoyed.
We are a hard-working, driven couple that loves life, our families, and God. We try to live life one step at a time and embrace the little things. Life can be hard sometimes, but we know that together and with Christ we can make it through anything. We see life as a journey that is meant to be enjoyed. We both work full-time but have flexible hours. When the new baby arrives, Ellen will take a full 12 weeks off work. Once she returns, we have family and a close friend who all live within 20 minutes of us and are able to watch our children throughout the week while we are at work.
In our free time, we love to ride bikes, shoot hoops, and garden. Jason also drag races. This is a fun hobby for him, but we love it even more because of the time we get to spend with family at the race track. We also love to travel, and do so regularly both on our own and with our families. We would love to visit all 50 states in our lifetime — with our kids!

We live in a rural community on 32 acres that hold the most beautiful sunrises. We live just a short drive from most of the extended family — including 13 nieces and nephews.
Both our families are very supportive of us in all that we do. They have stood by us and prayed with us through good times and bad, and now they cannot wait to open their arms and hearts to the newest member of the family! Our community is small so it is kind of like a second family in itself.
We pray that we are the right family for your child. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have for us and to learn more about you and your hopes and dreams.

We’ve been married since November 2012.
Our hobbies include running, hiking with our pups, drag racing, gardening, reading, and family time.
