Meet Cliff & Molly M.

Dear Birthparents,

If you give us the opportunity, we promise to give your child all our love. We will raise your child in a strong and loving home full of joy and laughter. We have seen the blessings that can come from adoption and we hope to build our family in the spirit of open adoption.

We are Cliff & Molly. We are so excited and grateful that you are taking time to learn about our family. We met in 2013 singing karaoke with friends and have been inseparable ever since. We got married in 2016 in downtown Columbus surrounded by friends and family, and even had a late-night karaoke party after the reception! We love music, board games, traveling, and anything else that allows us to spend time together. We had a long battle with infertility and IVF, and are ready to share the love that we have had growing in our hearts after that difficult time. Both of us have personal connections to adoption, we have always hoped to be fortunate enough to adopt, and we are excited for this chapter of our life.

Our home is an adorable suburb of Columbus called Worthington. We have a beautiful, 4-bedroom home with a large backyard. Our neighborhood is full of children and we can walk to the park, library and our downtown area where the Farmer’s Market is held.

Molly has been a pediatric nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for over 15 years. She also is the course head of pediatric nursing at Ohio State and loves sharing her passion for caring for children with her students. Her career allows for summers and holidays off and maternity leave, as well as a great deal of flexibility. She is so happy when spending time with the kids in her life, being a godmother and aunt. Molly’s heart is so full of love to give to a child of her own and she is grateful for the gift of open adoption which will make that a reality.

Cliff is a small business owner, running a bar near OSU’s campus. He is a mentor to his employees and is an extremely hard worker. Being an owner, his work schedule is flexible. He is a terrific uncle to his nieces and nephew, reading to them and playing outside. He loves listening to music and loves taking our dog Millie for long walks in our neighborhood. Cliff has a personal connection to adoption, and he has always been drawn to grow our family in this way.

Thank you. We have seen firsthand how selfless the choice of adoption is. Thank you for learning more about us. We can’t wait to share our child’s story with them during our open adoption.

Our Family At a Glance

We live in Worthington, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.
We’ve been married since July 2016, and together since 2013.
We work as a pediatric nurse/nursing professor and bar owner.
Our hobbies include traveling, board games, and listening to music.
We believe open adoption is the best choice, and in best interest of everyone involved, especially the child.
