Meet Christina & Mylan D.
Dear Birthparent,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We have been together since 2017 and married since 2019. Children have been a dream for both of us throughout our lives, and we were blessed to adopt our son Luca through open adoption in April 2023. We are now ready and excited to grow our family once more, to open our home and hearts to another child.
Should you choose us to parent your child, rest assured that we will love them completely and unconditionally and that they will have the most amazing big brother in Luca.
We recently built a house in Lebanon, Ohio, in a lovely neighborhood with parks and schools close by. Lebanon is a great town in and of itself, and also close to both Dayton and Cincinnati.
We are fortunate to have a loving and accepting family — blood relations as well as friends who have become family.
We spend weekends trying new restaurants, watching sporting events, or entertaining friends and family at our home. We love to play with Luca, spend time outdoors, and walk and play with Parker, our little Yorkie. Our favorite thing is travel. We love hiking/kayaking and visiting different beaches. We have some trips on our bucket list that we want to experience with our children, to expose them to different cultures and the wonderful diversity of life.

About Christina (by Mylan) My wife Christina is truly my best friend. She is the hardest working person I’ve ever met, and no matter what she does, she does it well. She enjoys getting her hair and nails done, and I know if I suggest a night in at home watching a movie with a glass of wine, she will race me to the couch, ready within 60 seconds. In the right company, Christina is incredibly goofy and has a laugh that is contagious. She is also exceptionally considerate, accepting, and compassionate in every situation. This past year, I have been able to witness her with the new title of Mother and she has been amazing. She is patient and understanding, and she always puts Luca’s needs before her own. I cannot wait to watch her heart grow even more when she loves another baby just as she has done with Luca.
About Mylan (by Christina) Mylan is my soulmate. She lights up every room she enters. Her caring and nurturing personality shines in many ways — as a nurse caring for patients, as a devoted friend, as the amazing wife she is to me. Mylan is a true partner to me. She is the only person I could imagine being a parent with. Her selfless nature inspires me daily. Watching Mylan become a mom this year has been my favorite role I have seen her take on. Mylan makes being a mother look effortless and provides such a nurturing environment for our son. Mylan is Luca’s favorite playmate and is always attentive when he is near. I am looking forward to seeing Mylan flourish with another child and to watching her unconditional love grow. I am so blessed to have Mylan as my partner.

Family to us has many different forms, and bringing another adopted baby into our lives would be a seamless transition for us. Our families have enjoyed loving on and spoiling Luca and are ecstatic about us adding another adopted child to our family. When we welcome our new baby into our home, he/she will be deeply loved by all of our family and Luca will be the best big brother to him/her. We cannot wait to witness it.
