Meet Chris & Sierra D.

Dear Birthparents,

We are Sierra and Christopher. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We are honored that you are considering us for your adoption plan. We hope that this brief profile gives you an idea who we are and shows that we are a loving and caring couple.

The two of us have planned on adopting a child since we began talking about having a family. We want to become adoptive parents because we believe every child deserves to be cared for and loved unconditionally. We are lucky enough to be in a position where we can open our home and hearts to a child. Recently, we learned we have infertility issues. These issues have increased our motivation and belief that adoption is the right path for us. We believe open adoption is also the best path for the adoption process to be successful – for us, for the biological parents, and, most importantly, for the child.

We love our doggies.

We met in college, have been together since 2016, and married in 2022. We love to spend time with our family and friends. We have large families. Sierra has four brothers and two sisters, and Chris has two brothers. We also have three nieces and three nephews. Much of our time is spent visiting family and attending family events such as graduations, pig shows, or basketball games. Our hope for our own family is to add to this large extended family with children of our own. We look forward to our children being surrounded by aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, all of whom can help them grow and experience life. Both our immediate and extended family support this adoption. They are excited to welcome a little one.

We both work full-time in the Cincinnati area. Sierra is a legal assistant for a law firm. Previously, she spent eight years working with youth at a residential treatment facility. Chris is a research associate who focuses on developing rehabilitation programs for justice-involved individuals. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our dogs, watching or playing sports, exercising, and reading.

We have a good time at the Renaissance Fair.

Our promise to you is that we will give your child all the love, care, and support that we can. We are devoted to raising a family and will make all the childcare arrangements needed to be attentive parents. We promise that your child will be surrounded by loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Our Family At a Glance

We live in Symmes Township, Ohio. We’ve been married since 2022. Chris works as a researcher in criminal justice. Sierra works as a legal assistant in personal injury law. Our hobbies include spending time with our dogs, playing and watching sports, hiking, exercising, reading, watching TV, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends. We believe open adoption will help your child find their true self and live the best life they can.
