Meet Brian & Julie C.

We cannot imagine how challenging this journey has been for you. We are honored that you have chosen to take some time to learn about us. Being parents through adoption is a special honor we do not take for granted. We are ready to start the journey of parenting another child! Thank you for considering us!
Our Story
We are a match made in math! We met in our college math class in 2013 and started dating two weeks later. We married in 2017, and every day is an adventure together. We frequently enjoy board game nights, Julie’s homemade pizza, friendly poker tournaments, family dinners, and sand volleyball! We live in a great neighborhood with a park, pool, and lake (for fishing) less than a mile away. A perfect place for a kid to grow up!
We were blessed to be placed with our daughter Hannah in January 2025. She is a cheerful and easy-going baby; everyone adores her. Julie spends her days with Hannah as a stay-at-home mom playing, singing, and reading books. As a family we have frequented the zoo, nature center, pumpkin farm, and even infant swim lessons! We are ready and excited to parent another child and welcome another member into our family!

About Julie
Julie has over eight years of experience as a math teacher, ranging from fourth to twelfth grade. Prior to Hannah’s arrival, Julie was teaching part-time. Julie made the decision to step away from teaching when we were placed with Hannah to be a stay-at-home mom. She loves getting to spend her days with Hannah playing, singing and reading books. Hannah and Julie enjoy weekly play dates with Grandma Gigi and Julie’s goddaughters.
Julie by Brian. Julie is thoughtful and generous. She takes care of me and always ensures guests feel at home. Julie’s the person who always handwrites birthday cards with an extra long note inside to show her love. Julie is an amazing mother to Hannah and has endless enthusiasm for teaching and reading baby books. Julie balances everything well, making sure Hannah and I have everything we need.

About Brian
Brian has been interested in computers since he was young. For nine years, Brian has been a software developer and is now a software engineering manager. Brian rarely travels or works overtime, allowing him to spend his evenings with Julie and Hannah. He loves his job and the team he works with. He works hard to provide for our family.
Brian by Julie. Brian has endless patience and is my support. He brightens my day with his enthusiasm and a great sense of humor. Brian is a loving father to Hannah and enjoys listening to her baby chatter and following her around the house on her adventures. Brian has encouraged me in my decision to be a stay-at-home mom, and I couldn’t ask for a better friend and partner.

About Hannah
Hannah is the light of our lives and brings so much joy to our family. She is a happy baby, enjoys cat toys more than her own, and is always excited to chase her little cousins and friend playmates. She likes yogurt, flip books, and petting cats and dislikes the doctor and most strangers who try to hold her. We can’t wait to see what amusing thing she is going to do or say next!
Family Support
One of the biggest blessings in our life is having our family close by. Brian’s parents and his sister’s family are 15 minutes away. Julie’s parents and sister live 18 minutes away. We see both sides weekly for family dinner and game nights and can’t emphasize enough how supported we are!
We have four young nieces and nephews and several goddaughters who are excited about a new playmate on the way. We are excited, too!
