Meet Brent & Krista M.
Dear Birthparents,
Thank you for taking the time to consider us as parents for your child. We are Brent and Krista, and we are ready and excited to become parents. While we’ve always been open to adoption, after an ongoing struggle with infertility, and a good deal of careful contemplation, we know with certainty that our hearts are drawn to adopting.
Our Story
We’ve known one another for a long time! We met in middle school when we began hanging out with the same friend group and doing the same sports. We had a great friendship all through high school and when we reconnected after college we discovered a romantic spark. We have now been together for ten years and married for five.
We love spending time together — exploring parks, seeing the world on vacation (travel is a big joy in our lives), watching OSU Buckeye games (we are huge fans), exercising and running, watching TV, and hanging out with our cats, Hannah and LaDonna (we adore them). We attend a non-denominational Christian church regularly and believe God gives us all of the greatest blessings we have. We look forward to adding our greatest blessing yet!

About Krista
I am sweet, kind, outgoing, and a “girly girl”! I love all things pink and Hello Kitty. I work as a toddler teacher at a daycare, which I absolutely love, and have learned a lot about children. I enjoy running, listening to Taylor Swift, spending time with my cats, and swimming in the pool and at the beach. I absolutely love traveling and look forward to doing that with our child.
About Brent
I am quiet and thoughtful when I first meet people, but with those I trust and love, I tend to be very fun-loving and energetic. I am the owner/operator of a moving company based in Akron, Ohio. I enjoy playing sports as well as watching them. I play soccer weekly with a group of friends. I also like taking our two cats out for supervised outside time … until they tell us it’s too cold!

Our Home
We love our neighborhood! We live in a quiet, wooded cul-de-sac that has several families and young children. Our yard is big and private with lots of play space. We are near a variety of parks, a children’s museum, and a zoo. We love this area because it feels private but is actually super close to many activities and facilities. It’s the best of both worlds.

We live in Akron, Ohio. We’ve been married since July 2020. We work as an educator and a business owner. ✦ Our hobbies include exercising, sports, playing with our cats, nature exploration, and travel. We believe open adoption is important and a way to connect many hearts with one.
