Meet Amy & Chris S.

Hi, it’s so nice to meet you!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better. You’re giving us hope that we may finally become parents one day and we are so grateful for that. We have been ready to grow our family for a long time, but infertility has made it much more challenging than we expected. We believe that welcoming a child into our lives through adoption would be the biggest blessing and we are committed to providing a safe, stable, and loving home. We have so much love to give.

We met in college and got married in 2017. Since then, we bought our home in Westerville and rescued our dog, Archie. We’re grateful for our kind neighbors, our peaceful backyard and the large park around the corner. We think it’s the perfect place to raise a child. We love spending quality time outside whether we’re playing fetch with the dog, hosting family and friends for a barbecue or having a campfire on a cool evening. When we’re inside, there’s usually music playing or a game on TV.

We have incredibly supportive families who can’t wait to meet this baby. We are blessed with three siblings each, so your child will have lots of cousins to play with, aunts and uncles to guide them and amazing grandparents to give them plenty of love. From apple picking in the fall to vacationing every summer, weekend pool parties and camping at Amy’s family farm, we have so many traditions we can’t wait to share with this kiddo.

What I love about my husband, Chris. (from Amy) I am so fortunate to be the wife of a guy who is just as fun as he is loving. Chris is going to be the best dad. I watch him with our nieces and nephews and he’s truly a wonderful uncle to them. He’s always jumping into the fun, doing backflips off the diving board, baiting the kids’ hooks at the lake and wrestling in the living room. He puts his family before everything and has built lifelong friendships. He picks me up when I’m down and encourages me to be the best version of myself everyday. He’s really one of kind.

Amy is the most kind-hearted and caring person that I know. (from Chris) She has the type of personality that people gravitate towards and has a close family and group of friends because of it. I am extremely lucky to be able to call her my wife as she continues to bring out the best in me every day. Her passion for helping others, ability to empathize and willingness to do the right thing are constant reminders that she will be a great mom one day. She has a lot of love to give and finds comfort in surrounding herself with those she cares about most. I am truly blessed to have found her.

We hope this small glimpse into our lives gives you an idea of who we are and what we value most. While life may not be perfect each day, we feel blessed to be able to navigate any challenges by trusting our faith in God, leaning on our family’s guidance and supporting each other unconditionally.
