Meet William and Stephany L.
Hello!
Dear Birth Parent,
We are William and Stephany. We have been married 8 years and live in Lorain Ohio where we bought our first house in 2021. We started talking in January 2014 via texting and in mid-late February we were finally able to meet in person. We went on our first date in March and became an official couple in June 2014. We got engaged in 2016 and then married in October 2017. Both of our families are rather big; Stephany is the oldest of 10 children and William is the second oldest of 4 brothers. We have 2 nephews and 2 nieces, 2 of which are a set of brother and sister twins. We have many aunts, uncles, and cousins. William works as a trash man for Republic Services the past 11 years, and Stephany works as a nanny in our home.

Our lives are full and happy.
We love to get together with our families for game nights, holidays, dinners, or just for visits to see them. We go to concerts and go camping during the summertime. Once a year we try to take a week vacation to a new place and try to take mini staycations on other vacation weeks throughout the year. During wintertime we tend to stay in and watch movies or find new TV series to watch. Around Christmas time we like to go look at Christmas lights and do other events related to the holiday season.
We are currently involved with a foreign exchange program and have hosted 2 students so far. One was a girl from Germany, and one was a boy from Denmark. We love having these students stay with us for 10 months out of the year. We felt that because we have struggled with infertility for many years, that we would welcome these kids into our home and allow them to get the experience to spend time in the United States and learn about our culture and ways of living. We foresee ourselves continuing the program in future years.

We can’t wait to finally be able to adopt a child and bring them into our home and love them as our own. We both love being around children and have always wanted our own, however, we have struggled for many years. We believe every child deserves to be loved and welcomed into a loving and nourishing home. We will be the parents to raise them with respect and to believe in themselves every day.

Our Lives at a Glance
We live in Sheffield Township Ohio. We’ve been married since October 2017. William works as a garbageman truck driver and Stephany works as a nanny. Our hobbies include camping, traveling, relaxing at home watching movies and TV series, spending time with friends and family. We believe adoption is a wonderful opportunity to give a child a loving home with open arms and open adoption is a key factor especially for the child.
