Meet Maggie H. & Aaron C.

Dear Birth Parent,

Thank you for taking this moment to learn a bit about us. We met in 2017 on a blind date set up by Maggie’s aunt. Since then, we’ve had an adventurous life. After Aaron’s work took us to Pennsylvania in 2019, we enjoyed exploring the east coast. We have traveled around the world building houses with Habitat for Humanity and the Fuller Center. It’s great to explore new places and meet new people.

We loved all the quality time we spent together during the pandemic, but discovered that we missed our families back in Ohio. After marrying in 2021, we decided to move back to Cincinnati in 2022.

One of our favorite rooms in the house is the living room, where we read, watch TV, and play games.

Our Home & Family

We live only five minutes from the neighborhood where Maggie grew up, within walking distance of multiple parks and schools, a library, a community center, and the town square.

Our home is a two-story, renovated carriage house built in 1869, with a large fenced-in yard that Stanley likes to run around in and a great porch for relaxing on during the summer.

Aaron by Maggie

Aaron has always wanted a family. I can see that his life has always been centered around his family, both immediate and extended. Although they are a tight-knit group, they immediately welcomed me into the fold. To know and love Aaron is to know and love the entire family.

Aaron will make an incredible dad not just because of the loving environment he grew up in, but also because of his heart. He is a provider, striving to bring love, comfort, support, and protection to everyone in his life.

Maggie is the most caring person I know, with an exceptional capacity to empathize and connect with people. She is devoted to nurturing and uplifting others with a heart that exudes warmth and understanding. She is a pillar of support for all who know her, including me.

As we embark on the path to parenthood, Maggie’s unwavering love and nurturing spirit will create a home filled with warmth, understanding, and profound love for our children.

We go on a walk through the neighborhood every day.

Meet Stanley

Stanley is a three-year-old English sheepdog-poodle mix. You can usually find him wherever we are in the house. He’s always happy and excited to meet new people.

We promise to give your child as many opportunities as possible. Our goal is to raise kind, curi- ous, and caring little people who grow up to be thoughtful and confident adults. We promise to respect and honor your wishes.

We both work in research.
Our hobbies include traveling, reading, and outdoor activities.
