Meet Lindsey & Stephen D.
Dear Birthparents,
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and consider us as your child’s adoptive parents. We are so grateful. We know that you are in the midst of making some of the hardest decisions of your life. Please know that every decision we make from this day forward will be in the best interest of your child. We promise to provide a safe and loving home for them for the rest of their life.
In 2025, our lives changed forever when we adopted our beautiful daughter, Charlotte. Our lives have been filled with more joy than we ever imagined possible. Her smile, her laughter, and even the quiet moments remind us daily of how incredibly blessed we are. She has brought light, purpose, and a deeper love into our home. We spend our time as a family with trips to the zoo and aquarium, walks around our neighborhood, and playing with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We look forward to the day when Charlotte will have a new sibling to grow up with, share adventures with, and build a lifelong bond.
About Stephen Stephen developed a love for the outdoors as a child, spending weekends hiking, camping, and at the lake. He works as a Clinical Program Analyst at the local VA Hospital. In his free time he has continued to enjoy the outdoors and has begun learning to sail on the weekends.
About Lindsey Lindsey developed an excitement for exploring nature as a child, when her family spent summers camping and traveling. She has been a nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital since 2013 and truly enjoys working with children of all ages.
Our favorite hobby is traveling and exploring. We love taking road trips, cruises, and flying to all kinds of destinations. We have been captivated by the beauty of our national parks, and one of our dreams is to visit every one of them. We are most excited about sharing these incredible adventures and experiences with our children.
We live in a beautiful, family-friendly neighborhood in Cincinnati filled with children of all ages, where you often see families out playing in their yards in the afternoons and evenings. Our home was built for raising children. It is a single-story ranch with four bedrooms and a finished basement. At home, we enjoy watching movies, playing board games, and grilling out in the backyard.
We live close to Cincinnati, with its zoo, aquarium, parks, playgrounds, walking trails, restaurants, and museums. Our wonderful and supportive families live close by, and we visit them regularly. We have seven nieces and nephews who can’t wait to welcome a new cousin into the family.
Thank you again. It is important for us to be open with our children about their story so they may have a connection to their roots. Our Family At a Glance
We live in Cincinnati, Ohio. We’ve been married since August 2022. We work as a Pediatric Nurse and a Clinical Program Analyst. Our hobbies include biking, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. We believe that open adoption means providing a home where a child is loved, supported, and will have a deeper understanding of who they are and where they came from.
