Meet Rachel T. & Eric M.
Dear Birthparent,
We are Rachel and Eric. Thank you for letting us share a little about ourselves. Thank you for your bravery and strength. We wish you peace and clarity as you make this big decision for yourself and your child. Please know that we are committed to providing a little one with a loving home and a life full of love, support, and acceptance. We strongly value open adoption as a means of raising a strong, resilient child, who knows they are abundantly loved and accepted.
Why we want to adopt
We have been wanting to grow our family for a few years, and decided adoption is the best option for us. We look forward to welcoming a child into our fun and loving home and giving them a life full of adventures and learning.
We know adoption is a hard decision and a challenging process, but we are ready to face those challenges — and to enjoy the rewards as well.

The two of us
We met after college in 2012 and married in 2017. We have spent the last five years building a marriage of open communication and a lot of love and adventure — and now we are ready to start our next chapter by building a family together.
We are a laid-back couple that loves to laugh, have fun, and go on adventures — spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, hiking and biking through parks, going to the zoo, and exploring fun new coffee shops. We love to travel around the United States and around the world. We plan on continuing our adventures and can’t wait to share all our wonderful experiences with a little one!
About Eric I work as a chemical engineer, and have worked for the same company for over 10 years. Outside of my mutual hobbies with Ray, I like fishing, mountain bike riding, and doing projects around the house.
About Ray I work for a global medical device manufacturer as a human factors engineer, helping design medical devices. I work remotely and travel on a semi-regular basis. In addition to the hobbies I do with Eric, I enjoy exercising, going to see live music, reading, and doing art projects.

Our home
We live in a three-bedroom house on a quiet cul-de-sac in a suburb of Cincinnati, near to close friends and family who all have young children of their own. We are within walking distance of the elementary school and just a short drive away from nearby parks and hiking trails where we spend a lot of our time when the weather is nice. We are a short drive to fun Cincinnati attractions like the zoo and museums.
