Meet Bradley and Erin C.

Adoptive family

Dear Birth Parent,

Hello, we are Bradley and Erin! Thank you for letting us share a bit about our lives. We live in Madisonville, a diverse and inclusive neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, in a home that is bright, warm, and inviting. We’ve been together a long time, having dated for eight years before marrying in 2015. Our relationship is very balanced, and we feel our individual skills and interests will help our child become well-rounded, with a rich and fulfilling life.

We are best friends and soul mates and have built a life together based on trust, compassion, love, respect, laughter and fun, and we cannot wait to share it all with a child. We have always known we want to be parents. Bradley was adopted as an infant and his parents made sure he always felt positive about his adoption and reassured him that he was loved by his family. We feel we can guide our child to feel aware and confident about being adopted and proud of who they are.

Bradley is 42 years old and works as an electromechanical technician. He can fix just about anything — and he has! Erin is 43 years old and works as a clinical research coordinator, feeling a close bond with the children and families she meets in her role.

Our Colorado trip

Our hobbies include hiking, biking around the neighborhood, and listening to vinyl records from our collection. We love to cook and host Thanksgiving for our families each year. Erin is an avid gardener, enjoys reading and journaling, and loves all kinds of animals. Bradley enjoys skateboarding and is an artist and musician, who plays lead guitar for his band. In his spare time, Bradley also enjoys rebuilding his ’71 Chevy Nova, which was passed down to him by his father.

We are fortunate to have very loving and supportive families. Erin’s parents have been married for 50 years. She has an older brother who is a wonderful father and one of the kindest people on Earth. Bradley is very close to his mother, who is a warm-hearted and powerful woman. Bradley has two brothers, each of whom have gentle hearts and great talent.

Family is important to us, and we are all very close. Our extended family is supportive of us and always available if we need them. We also have wonderful friends whom we hold close to our hearts.

Great parents for my child

We have two dogs, Craig and our puppy, Maggie. Our sweet and gentle-natured pups have so much personality and are an important part of our family. Although he is older and has short, crooked legs, Craig has been working on training and loves going to school! His favorite things include the weave poles and the A-Frame. Despite his age, he has won many ribbons and everyone in class loves it when he arrives. Now it’s Maggie’s turn and so far, she is really good at walking and sitting and learning how to lay down and stay. Soon, she will be a shining star!
Our hearts are open, and we are hopeful to grow our family – beautifully and with unconditional love. We promise you that, if you choose us, your child will be the center of our lives. Neither of us fully understands your sacrifice but we commit to fully loving and nurturing this child. We will be forever grateful to you for trusting us with such an important gift.

Warm regards,
Bradley and Erin
