Meet Susan & Erich W.
Words cannot describe our admiration for your strength and courage through this process. Thank you for taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents for your child.
We have always wanted children. Family is extremely important to us and we are looking forward to starting a family of our own. We know we can provide the love and encouragement a child needs in order to realize their best life.
Because we love spending time with family and friends, we have established traditions centered around those we love: Friendsgiving, “homemade pasta night,” and Christmas dinner, all of which we host at our home.
We are an active couple and love to be outside, whether it is relaxing in our backyard, hiking in a national park, kayaking, or traveling both near and far.

About Susan. I was raised in the rural town of Vanceburg, Kentucky. I currently work full-time as an Occupational Therapist at Bethesda North and plan to switch to part-time with the option to be a stay-at-home mom if we decide that would be the best for our family. I love to travel, because it allows me to experience and learn about other cultures and history. Both of my parents were teachers and instilled in me the importance of continual education and personal growth.
About Erich. I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I am a pulmonary and critical care physician at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, where I am also the Medical Director of the ICU. Like Susan, I love to constantly learn and because of that, I value new experiences of all kinds, including traveling, reading, and trying new recipes. My parents encouraged me to make my own road in life and inspired me to fully discover my passion and happiness, and I will strive to pass these same lessons on to my child.
Homemade pasta is a favorite, and we host “Homemade Pasta Night” with friends regularly.
Home & Community. As it has always been our dream to raise a family, we worked to find a great community that was safe, had excellent schools, and had enough space for our children to be able to play outdoors and enjoy their childhood. That’s exactly what we found in our neighborhood in Loveland, Ohio. We live on a cul-de-sac and have a community park, playground, tennis court, basketball court, and swimming pool within a 2-minute walk of our house. With many children in the neighborhood and a great community feel, we know this will be the perfect place to raise our children.
- to be honest with your child about their adoption.
- that your child will know you and understand that you chose adoption out of a deep love for them.
- to love your child unconditionally and support them throughout their life.
- to be open with you and to make you part of the journey with us if you so desire.

Thank you again for considering us for the adoption of your child. We sincerely wish you the best and trust that you will choose the right adoptive parents for your child no matter whom you ultimately select.
