Meet Ivan & Monica R..
Hello!
We are Ivan and Monica. Thank you for taking this moment to learn a bit about us. We met as children in the church where we both were raised, and we’ve been inseparable since eighth grade — together for 13 years and married for three. We stuck together through the adventures of our teen and college years, returning to our hometown after graduation. Our dream was to marry and raise our family in the community we grew up in, surrounded by our amazing family, and we are fulfilling that dream. We are blessed! Our faith remains a significant part of our lives and we still attend our childhood church with our families.
We love every minute we get to share together. We enjoy an active lifestyle exercising, cooking meals together, taking weekend trips, watching sports, going to local eateries, taking our dog Scout for long walks on the local bike path, boating on Indian Lake, and spending time with family and friends. We have large, loving families. They are the greatest “village,” and live close by. We frequently gather for meals, ice cream outings, games, and just to enjoy one another’s company.

Family is everything to us. We are grateful for the the family’s successful excavating business and the family farm, which enable us to work alongside and learn from Ivan’s parents while giving back to our community.
About Ivan I’m a dedicated family man with a strong work ethic. I work in our family’s excavating business and am passionate about building our local community, creating good jobs, and supporting my family. During my free time, I cherish moments with my wife, friends, and family. Staying active, watching sports, golfing, hunting, and embracing the outdoors are among my hobbies.
About Monica Driven by a desire to help others reach their full potential, I graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2021, and now contribute to my community, paying it forward to all who supported me along my journey. During my free time, I treasure every minute with Ivan, exploring the lake with our dog, engaging in boating, staying active, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
We love to decorate our home throughout the year.
Life at Home Eager to share our lives with a little one, we have created a welcoming home, an ideal place for our child to learn and grow. Our cozy country home, with a spacious yard perfect for outdoor play, sits on 1.5 acres adjacent to the 450-acre family farm. In addition to having family nearby, our community offers lots of amenities such as parks, nature preserves, community swimming pools, walking paths, bike paths, the Old Field Beach at Indian Lake, and the Logan County Library.
We are grateful that our child care plans consist of family members only, including: Ivan’s mother; Monica’s grandmother, parents, aunts, and uncles; and our oldest sisters. That’s a real village!

Our Family At a Glance
We live in Indian Lake, Ohio. We’ve been married since August 2020. We work as a project manager and a doctor of physical therapy. Our hobbies include spending time with our dear family and friends, boating on Indian Lake, being active, watching sports, attending concerts, taking weekend trips, and working around our home. We believe that God has adopted us as His children, and we are being called to share that same love with a child through open adoption.
