Meet Bryan & Dustin G.

Dear Birthparent,

Thank you for taking this time to learn a bit about us. It means a lot to us. We are Bryan and Dustin. We’ve always known we’d have kids, and we’ve been preparing for adoption for many years. Now is the time. We are in stable careers, with jobs that allow us the flexibility to have a family, and we recently found the perfect home in a neighborhood with great schools and nearby spaces for play.

Meet Bryan. I would describe myself as calm, supportive, patient, warm, and observant. I greatly value humor and being goofy — which is invaluable in my work as a pediatric nurse at Dayton Children’s Hospital. I enjoy gardening and woodworking, I love museums, and I like board and video games of all sorts.

Meet Dustin. I would describe myself as an easygoing/go-with-the-flow type of person. A kid at heart, I’m excited to have a child to share my time with. I work at LexisNexis as a Sales Operations Specialist (it’s kind of like a VP’s secretary that specializes in sales reporting). I love computers (both building them and gaming on them) and music of all kinds.

Our Home. We love our 3-bedroom, 4-bath tri-level with its enclosed backyard that has plenty of room to play. Our community is secure and walkable, with schools nearby as well as great places for the many children in the area to play — including parks, nature trails, and the Washington Township Recreational Center.

Family & Friends. We have a fantastic support system with our family and friends. We get together often with our friend group, usually every week. Much of our family lives within 15 minutes, and we see each other frequently. Everyone is thrilled about the adoption and plans to help in any way they can.

Our Family At a Glance

We live in Centerville, Ohio, near uptown.
We’ve been married since August 2018.
We work as a pediatric nurse at a local children’s hospital and a sales operations specialist.
Our hobbies include games of all kinds, time with friends and family, and walking local parks and trails.
We believe in the golden rule: treat others as you wish to be treated.
